“We are very grateful for the concern shown by our colleagues and friends and ask everyone to pray for their safety at this time,” the statement added.

“It’s a remote area and doing a search in that remote area is challenging,” said US Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger.

“We are deploying all available assets to locate the craft and rescue the people on board,” he said.

We will continue to fly and move more ships this evening.

Mauger said authorities are reaching out to commercial vessels for assistance.

Action Aviation chairman Hamish Harding was among those missing, according to Mark Butler, managing director of the Dubai-based aircraft broker. Bloomberg.

Move all options

Ocean Gate Expeditions, the private company that operates the submarine, said in a statement on Monday that it was “suming up all options” to rescue those on board.
