(WBBM NEWSRADIO) –Two professors from DePaul University are featured
in a new documentary playing hitting theaters – including Chicago’s Regal City North -this weekend.

Lamont Black, a finance professor and Kelly Richmond Pope, professor of Accounting at DePaul offer insights and skepticism of the cryptocurrency world in the documentary “The Highest of Stakes”, which follows Richard Heart, who founded several crypto securities and operates a popular YouTube channel.

“Kelly and I are the skeptics in the film, so she’s the products expert,” Black explained.

“I’m the crypto expert and just trying to ask hard questions about what hex is, why Richard’s doing this and why investors- I think should be very careful about approaching hex as an investment.”

Pope is an expert in fraud and forensic accounting and she acknowledged that many people don’t really understand Cryptocurrency or Hex.

“The fact that you don’t understand it should be the first red flag for everyone, because how often should we really invest in something that we don’t know anything about,” she asked.
