First solo album of the South Korean singer Kim Taehyung to release on 8th September 1:00 pm (KST).

BTS’s record label made the announcement on their twitter handle with a teaser.

Layover” will have 6 tracks ‘Rainy Days’ ,’Blue’, ‘Love Me Again’, ‘Slow dancing’, ‘For Us’, ‘Slow dancing (piano version)’.

Overall the album would be soulful R&B incorporating V’s signature baritone voice as shared in details on weverse by the company.

V has from time and on shown his interest in jazz and R&B music genre in his individual projects.

V shared the album image on his Instagram handle with a sweet message to his fans.

Min Hee-Jin, who is currently making waves in the k-pop industry since launching NewJeans ,is leading the album’s production as suggested by the artist himself.

“It’s the music that I want to highlight. I’ve prepared music that is of V’s own taste and, at the same time, that I wanted to suggest. Rather than leaning into what’s familiar, I focused on making music that we want to try and can do well”, said Min.

Talking about the album the singer said he is nervous yet happy about it.

“It’s an album of my own style. It is packed with a flourish of spectacles to enjoy. I’m working hard hoping that it will bring joy to Army, so please look forward. It will introduce a new side of V as a solo musician that you haven’t seen with BTS’ V.”, he added.

V is the last member of the group to release his solo project since the group halted their group activities.
