On May 23, the legendary jazz artist and five-time GRAMMY winner; John BaptistThey responded to a question raised on social media about people’s motivations for fame. He named none other than BTS’ soulful baritone Kim Taehyung.
A year ago, John expressed his desire to meet Taehyung at the 2022 GRAMMYs, and to everyone’s delight, the two crossed paths. Photos of them dating have been circulated on social media.
That night, BTS performed their hit song “Butter,” which was hailed as the best performance of the night, while John took home the GRAMMY for “Album of the Year.”
Often referred to as the “social butterfly of BTS,” Taehyung has a charming way of capturing people’s hearts, and the two princes hit it off quickly.
Two days after their first meeting, the two shared videos of them spending time together, looking close and cozy. Taehyung was seen laughing as he taught John a few words in Korean.
Their fans were happy to see their continued friendship and praised both artists for their talents.
