Over the past few years, BTS has befriended some of the biggest names in the global music industry. They have a close relationship with such people. Chris Martin, Anderson Pac, HalseyAnd Becky G. But unlike all these friendships that have grown in musical collaborations, John Batiste’s relationship V It grew out of genuine mutual admiration.
The Academy Awards’ Twitter account, launched in 2022, responded to a fan post saying John and V would share a picture if they met at the awards show. John responded to the same post expressing his excitement to meet the BTS member.

Batiste V then followed up on his Instagram account and shared a video of him playing “Autumn Leaves” on the trumpet.

The two last met at the 2022 Grammy Awards, where V enthusiastically supported Batiste’s historic win for Album of the Year.

The two also clicked a picture together and confirmed that they have finally met in person.

A few days later, both V and Batiste posted a video of them hanging out like old friends. The two share a few laughs at V trying to teach him some Korean. Batiste followed Vi’s suit and thanked the hotel staff in Korean, causing him to burst out laughing.
