Joy Behar She subtly dropped “The View” on Thursday’s episode, where she was shot in the back in 2013.
The hosts were reflecting on Tina Turner’s death and her legacy as Behar tactfully brought up her two-year tenure.
“There’s something about her. I’ve been on this show for 26 years, like we all know with little breaks – I’m forced to,” Behar said, pausing as some people laughed.
The 80-year-old comedian added: “For some reason, this death has put me in a tizzy.”

“I don’t know what it is, something about her coming to me now, I might start crying,” Behar concluded.
The Queen of Rock and Roll died of natural causes on May 24 at her $76 million home in Kusnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland.

“I was happy to be fired,” he told Time in July 2022. “I was basically sick of the show for some reason, I don’t even remember why.

Behar was one of the original hosts of the beloved ABC show, along with creators Barbara Walters, Starr Jones, Debbie Matnopoulos and Meredith Vieira.
Her exit from the show didn’t last long as she continued to guest host in 2014 and 2015 and thereafter.


In 2015, ABC announced that she would return in a regular capacity for a 19th season.
“Just when I thought I was out, they took me back,” Bharr said at the time. “But I’m happy to be back home. And I look forward to sticking my two cents into hot topics.
The co-hosts of “The View” have changed several times over the years, but currently she sits on the panel with Sarah Hynes, Sunny Hostin, Anna Navarro, Alyssa Farrah Griffin and longtime host Whoopi Goldberg.
