British actor Julian Sands, known for his work on shows such as “24” and “A Room with a View” and “Arachnophobia,” has been missing since last Friday in California’s Kick Bucket area. to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Sands was reported missing around 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 13, department spokeswoman Gloria Huerta told CNN.

CNN has reached out to Sand’s representatives for comment.

Mitt Baldi is located in the San Gabriel Mountains in San Bernardino County.

Search and rescue crews were looking for Sands on the mountain, but due to severe weather and the threat of rain, rescuers had to call off their search efforts, Huerta said.

Authorities are continuing to use drones to search for Sands, but are limited with other resources because of the weather on Baldi Mountain, Huerta added.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department recently warned hikers about visiting Bucket Mountain, where high winds and snow can make conditions dangerous.

Search and rescue teams have responded to 14 rescue missions in and around Baldi Mountain in the past four weeks, the agency said in a Facebook post.

“These rescue missions were for lost, stranded and/or injured travelers. Unfortunately, during these 4 weeks, two hikers did not survive after falling and injuring themselves,” he wrote. “The recent storms that brought the snow and ice conditions are not suitable even for the most experienced hikers.”

Sands’ other credits include TV shows like “Killing Fields” and “Get Out of Las Vegas” and “Smallville.”

One of his most recent credits includes a recurring role in the Netflix television series “What If.”
