At the Time100 Summit Tuesday, attorney Kim Kardashian said she would be happy to leave reality TV and pursue a serious legal career after she graduates and passes the California bar.
“I’m just happy to be a full-time lawyer,” she said.
“I always joke with my mom. [Kris Jenner] – Who is my manager – I say, ‘Kim K. is retiring, and I’m going to be a lawyer.’ “
Kardashian, 42, is following in the footsteps of her late father, legal eagle Robert Kardashian, who was found guilty in the 1995 murder trial of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, the bombshell that shook America.
In the year After announcing her desire to become a lawyer in 2019, Kardashian passed the California first-year law student exam – known as the “baby bar” and a requirement for those who, like Kardashian, pursue their studies independently – on the fourth attempt in December 2021.
The reality star was inspired by her work in prisons and criminal-justice reform.
“The trip really opened my eyes,” he told Poppy Harlow in an interview at the Time100 Summit held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
“Because they have so much to do… I brought my sister Chloe [Kardashian] She went to jail for the first time last week, and that was a real eye-opener for her.
Now she hopes it will be “the most meaningful work of her life,” not reality TV or figure skating.
