Actress Anushka Sharma made her red carpet debut at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Friday and turned heads with her stunning look. Anushka posted the photos with a white heart emoji. She also tagged her designers and stylists and more. Anushka added the hashtags ‘walk here’ and ‘Cannes 2023’. In the first picture, the actress got into her car and flashed a big smile. In the other pictures, Anushka makes various statements while posing for the camera.

Responding to the post, Anushka’s husband-cricketer Virat Kohli added heart eyes and a red heart emoji. Dia Mirza posted “Uffff (red heart and fire emojis)”. In the other posts, Anushka smiles and also poses away from the camera. Reacting to the photos, Preity Zinta and Zoya Akhtar dropped red heart emojis.





For the event, Anushka wore an off-the-shoulder ivory Richard Quinn Couture gown with hand-embroidered ivory silk taffeta roses from the in-house atelier. The actress paired it with Gianvito Rossi heels and Chopard yellow and white diamond rings with white and yellow diamond drop earrings in a unique pearl shape that sparkles. Anushka completed her look with a cute hair tie and clean makeup look.

Anushka attended Cannes Film Festival 2023 to celebrate women in cinema. The actress recently met French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenin along with her husband Virat Kohli at the French Embassy in New Delhi. The ambassador made a statement on his social media page, hinting at the actor’s trip to the festival. Apart from Anushka, Sara Ali Khan and Mrunal Thakur made their debut on the popular platform this year. Aishwarya Rai and Sunny Leone and others graced the red carpet.



Anushka will be seen in the upcoming sports biopic film Chakda Express. The film is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Directed by Prosit Roy, the film will be released on Netflix. The final release date of the film is still awaited. Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma will produce Chakda Express with his home production company Clean Slate Filmz. The film marks the actor’s comeback after his last release Zero in 2018 with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
