NTR30 Big Update: Jr NTR welcomes Saif Ali Khan on board. Cool together on the set

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been officially welcomed on board for debutant NTR’s next with Koratala Siva. The actor joined the sets of the tentatively titled NTR30 today. The makers shared some pictures from the sets as they bonded and chilled with RRR actor and director Siva. He is said to be playing the role of the antagonist in the film.

The makers of the film took to Twitter and shared a few pictures of Jr NTR and Koratala Siva meeting and chilling with Saif Ali Khan. The actor started shooting for a pan-Indian action film in Hyderabad. According to reports, Saif is playing the role of an antagonist in the film. If true, NTR30 is also playing the role of the antagonist in Prabhas’ Adipurush, so it will mark his second stint as a baddie.

Janhvi Kapoor joins the sets of NTR30.

A day earlier, the film’s female lead Janhvi Kapoor also joined the sets of NTR30 in Hyderabad. The actress was clicked at the Hyderabad airport when she came to the city to shoot for her first Telugu film. NTR30 marks the debut of Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the Telugu and South film industry.

NTR30 Jr marks the reunion of NTR and Koratala Siva after their blockbuster film Janata Garage. The much-awaited project, tentatively named NTR 30, was launched in Hyderabad on Thursday, March 23, with a grand Muhurat Pooja ceremony. Noted Tamil music director Anirudh Ravichander was roped in to compose the songs and original scores. Ratnavelu is the director of photography. One Sreekar Prasad handles the editing. Sabu Cyril leads the product design team. Kenny Bates, known for designing action sequences for films like Mission Impossible and Transformers, has joined NTR 30 as a stunt director.

The latest buzz about the film is that the actor will play a double role, one of the father and the other of the son. The story of the film is said to be about the life of a marginalized community of fishermen and how they are saved from dacoits and mafia by a powerful man in the community.
