Celine Dion She has announced the cancellation of her “Courage World Tour” in 2024 and “will not be touring again,” a source close to Dion told CNN on Friday.

“She’s in a lot of pain,” the person said. “She does physical therapy every day.”

An announcement on the singer’s social media said: “I’m so sorry to disappoint you all again. I’m working hard to get my strength back, but even when you’re 100% it can be really hard to tour. It’s not fair to you guys to postpone the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best to cancel everything now until I’m really ready to go back on stage. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up…and I can’t wait to see you again!”

Dion postponed several shows in December after announcing that she has Stiff Man Syndrome, a condition that prevents her from “singing like I used to”.

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, the disease is a rare, progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, particularly the brain and spinal cord.

“While we’re still learning about this rare condition, we know it’s the cause of all the spasms I’ve had,” Dion said at the time. “Unfortunately, these worries affect all of my daily life, sometimes they cause problems when I walk and they don’t allow me to sing with a beast of voice.”

Tickets for her concerts will be refunded from where they were purchased.
