J. Cole Summer Walker Weeps From ‘To Summer From Cole’ lyrics

In a recent interview, Atlanta singer J. Cole moved Summer Walker to tears with a new song.

In a conversation with Young Miami on her REVOLT TV show Caresha please On Thursday (May 25), Walker gave viewers some insight behind her new track, “To Summer, From Cole,” featuring the Grammy-winning rapper.

“So we have a song called ‘Audio Hug,'” Summer Walker began. “I asked him to do a song, he didn’t have time to do it. He wanted to meet and I was so pregnant, oh my god, I can’t. I don’t know if you’ve seen pictures, I was like 200 pounds. My ankles were huge. It was crazy. So we haven’t met. But, he finally sent me something called an ‘audio hug’.

“It’s very sweet. I cried when I heard it. He was just as hella sweet and said that he would see through every bad thing that happened to me and that if I needed to call him for anything he would be fine.

She continued: “We didn’t meet in the studio, because I don’t even like to work like that. We met at Dreamville, which was a great festival.” That shit was good. But then we went to Dave and Buster’s and that’s when we cut it.

“We had a great time. He got his ass in basketball. Everyone got in there. It was crazy.”
