Singer and actress Lea Michele was spotted out and about on Thanksgiving Thursday.

The 36-year-old glee vet wore a bright red outfit and black hat with feathers as she performed a song from the Broadway show Funny Girl Don’t Rain on Me.

The mother of one was performing at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Also there were Paula Abdul, Jordyn Sparks and Mariah Carey.

Along with the famous balloons, the parade features 28 floats, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns and a host of musical stars set to usher in Thanksgiving Day.

She was spotted practicing in October.

Returning to Broadway, she said, makes her happy.

‘Being a part of the Broadway community, for me it’s really exciting to be back home, I love it,’ she said.

‘I started playing in Les Miserables when I was eight years old and now I’m back on Broadway many years later in my fifth show, Fanny Brice in Funny Girl It was my dream.’

Until her two-year-old daughter, Ever, comes on the scene, she says she’s doing the best she can.

I’m thinking about it, I have a great husband, he’s wonderful, he helps. But it is a challenge. My son knows I sing and I go to work,’ she said.

She told her son that she loved him and would see him later.

The star was in costume to perform his song Don’t Rain on My Parade with the cast of Funny Girls.
