The group plays the acoustic-punk masterpiece in its entirety
Rebellious Fems have added their self-titled debut album to their 40th anniversary tour, hitting the North American leg.
While the spring leg hits areas of the western mid-state, the fall leg will focus primarily on the East Coast and Midwest. The tournament begins on October 3rd in Milwaukee and will be held on October 22nd at the show in Richmond, Virginia.
As they did on the tour’s first leg, Violent Femmes will play their debut LP in its entirety at each show. His acoustic-punk masterpiece contains classics such as “Glow in the Sun”, “Kiss Off”, “Add Me” and “Prove My Love”, among others.
The Live Nation presale begins Wednesday (June 7) at 10 a.m. local time. Disco Through Ticketmaster. General ticket sales begin Friday (June 9) at 10 a.m. local time. The opening show in the Violent Femmes’ hometown of Milwaukee will see the band play alongside the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and two nights at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan will find the Femmes playing alongside the Grand Rapids Symphony.
