Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews were handling hot spots while heavy machinery moved debris Monday morning. Since the fire started Sunday afternoon, the firefight included around 90 personnel helping with the firefight. On Monday, some AFR crews were checking out the damage to the actual building. Fire crews were working until about noon this morning, and according to AFR, the rest of the clean-up efforts are now up to the company, United Poly Systems. He added, “They have a couple more interviews to conduct, and they said they’re hoping to have that cause here in the next couple of days.” Both AFR and Bernalillo County Fire Department took time today to thank all the crews that worked together to put the fire out. According to fire crews, they monitored the fire all night to make sure no hot spots ignited a fire.
