

“Cruel Summer” and “Grown-ish” will return to Freeform as part of its summer lineup with the new animated comedy series “Praise Petey,” the network announced Monday. “Cruel Summer” will return in Season 2 and “Grown-ish” will air its sixth and final season in two episodes.
The first half of “Grown-ish” Season 6 will premiere on June 28 and will feature Justine Skye and Tara Raani as series regulars. This season follows Annika (Sky), a sharp and funny media star who chooses a college that fits her personal brand. “Raani Zeara plays a first-generation Muslim American whose fearlessness inspires Junior as his best friend and a shoulder to lean on,” says the official show synopsis.
Season 2 of “Cruel Summer” premieres on June 5 at 9 pm ET with two episodes. The series goes to 10 p.m. According to the show’s official description, this season revolves around Y2K in three different timelines, while the season follows the early friendship between Megan, Isabella and Megan’s best friend Luke, the blossoming love triangle and the mystery. It will affect their whole life in the future.
Following a girl named Petey, voiced by Shit Creek star Annie Murphy, “Thank Petey. “She’s a New York City girl who has everything until her life comes crashing down around her,” Petty said. Luckily, a mysterious gift from her father gives her a new lease on life: she ‘modernizes’ his small-town cult, according to the official show synopsis. The series will start on July 21 at 10 am

Netflix has shared the first trailer for its limited series “All the Light We Cannot See,” created by Shawn Levy. The four-part series begins Thursday, November 2.
The series is an adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name. A blind French girl, Marie-Laure, and her father, Daniel DeBlanc, flee German-occupied Paris. Marie-Laure and DeBlanc seek refuge in St. Malo, where their host is radioed as part of the protest. When young Werner, recruited by Hitler’s regime, goes on a mission to monitor the spread, he naturally finds himself connected to Marie-Laure. Over the course of ten years, both Marie-Laure and Werner grow closer, revealing a light story of human relationships.
The four-part limited series stars Arya Mia Loberti and Nell Sutton as the elder and younger Marie-Laure, and Mark Ruffalo as Daniel LeBlanc, Hugh Laurie as Uncle Etienne, Louis Hoffman as Werner, Lars Edinger as Von Rumpel and Marion. Bailey as Madame Manec. “All the Light We See” was directed by Levy and written by Steven Knight.

Amazon Freevy’s new court show “Court Justice” will premiere on June 9, the network announced Tuesday. The first official trailer of the series has also been released.
The series, produced and executive produced by television and judge Judy Sheindlin, will expand the “Justice” brand on Amazon Free. The panel of judges, consisting of Judge Tanya Acker, Judge Patricia DiMango and Judge Adam Levine, will bring the experts together on real-life cases. Also maintaining order in the courtroom will be bail judges Cassandra Britt and Petrie Hawkins Byrd.
The first three episodes of the series will air exclusively on Freevi in the US, UK, Germany and Austria from June 9th, and new episodes will air weekly until December 1st.
“Judy Justice” follows Sheindlin’s first series “Judy Justice” to air. The series is produced by Shinlin and Sandra Allen. Scott Kundel also serves as an executive producer.

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for “City on Fire,” the eight-episode mystery thriller starring Wyatt Oleff and Chase Sui Wonders and inspired by the popular novel by Garth Risk Hallberg. The first three episodes of the series will open on May 12, followed by a new episode every week until June 16.
“An NYU student was shot in Central Park on July 4, 2003. Samantha (wonders) is alone. There are no witnesses and very little physical evidence. Her friends’ band is playing at her favorite downtown club, but she leaves to meet someone and promises to return, the official synopsis says.
“You never do. When the crime against Samantha is investigated, she is revealed to be a vital link between a series of mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy real estate family in the city.
The show is written by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who serve as executive producers and showrunners. Jesse Perez will direct four episodes and serve as an executive producer and Lis Rowinski as an associate producer.

Spectrum News+ will be a hub for more than 30 local Spectrum TV news channels, leveraging content from those various outlets.

Harry Styles and Will Ferrell will be the final guests to join James Corden on the “Late Late Show with James Corden” couch on April 27. The final episode will be preceded by a Carpool Karaoke special featuring Blackpink and Diddy.
Tom Cruise, Billie Eilish, Josh Gad, Jennifer Garner, Mila Kunis, Seth Meyers, Billy Porter, Lisa Kudrow, Sharon Stone and Natalie Portman are among the stars who have previously made guest appearances on Corden’s last two weeks of the show.
Both Styles and Ferrell were frequent guests on the “Late Late Show.” In an episode with One Direction, Styles loses a game of “Tattoo Roulette”, which features a permanent color of the show’s logo.
The final episode, titled “The Last Late Late Show,” will air on April 27 at 12:37 p.m. on CBS, and will be followed by a special episode.
