Full house Actor John Stamos admits he was initially “angry” when Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen refused to return for the Netflix revival of the series. Fuller House.
Many actors from the original 1987-1995 sitcom returned for the series between 2016 and 2020, including Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Lee Ann Swingin, Scott Weinger, Lori Laughlin, Stamos, Bob Saget and more.
After the first show ended, the Olsen twins had very successful acting careers before deciding to switch lanes and pursue fashion design. At the time, there was a bit of a Twitter spat between Mary-Kate and Stamos, who helped broker the revival deal while the former said he didn’t know about it.

“Mary-Kate and Ashley haven’t seen each other much. I mean, we’ve had a little bit of a relationship, but Bob really did. And they were great. You hear rumours, ‘Oh, they hate their childhood or hate being on the show or whatever.’
“When I did Fuller House They didn’t want to come back. And I was pissed for a minute. And that came out. But they said, ‘We loved our childhood. We love being with you. We miss you Bob.’
“They came to my house. They brought pork and sage. I don’t know why, but thank you? It was frozen pork, that was very good. So we were very close.”
Fuller House They ran for five seasons on Netflix. The cast was hoping for a sixth season, but it didn’t happen.
