IDAHO FALLS – Paige Anne of Idaho Falls is asking for your vote during another appearance on “American Idol” Monday night.
The 16-year-old Idaho Falls High School student first appeared on the show in March to find out she had been eliminated from the competition. She was chosen as the first alternate, which means that if anyone falls out of the 26, she will replace them.

Paige tells eastidahnews.com that a week before she left Hawaii, where this episode of the show was filmed, she found out someone had been interrupted and was called back to play again.
“I got on a zoom (call) with some of the producers and they let me know. I was crying. I was very grateful for the opportunity, Page said.
Her performance, which airs tonight, April 17 at 7 p.m., was filmed in February. She will watch it for the first time on Monday along with the rest of America. Paige is in Hollywood, California with her mother awaiting the results of tonight’s performance.
Voting opens at 6pm and she is hoping to get enough votes to make it to the top 20.
Peggy’s mother, Launie, said she was delighted to see her daughter one step closer to achieving her singing career.
“Paige really had to be busy to get ready for (tonight’s performance). She was always prepared but the last minute rush was overwhelming. We went out to Hawaii and got ready to work. It was quite a journey through this whole process,” she says.
Voting is available on three different platforms and people can vote up to 10 times on each for a total of 30 votes. One way to vote is on the “American Idol” website. Fans can vote on the app or by texting “15” to 21523.
“Vote, vote, vote! I really want to be in the top 20 show,” says Page.
