A day after her divorce was finalized, actress Valerie Bertinelli boarded a plane to spend Thanksgiving in Italy with her son Wolfgang.

The 62-year-old actress was married to financial planner Tom Vitale from 2011 until they split a year ago, with the divorce finalized on Wednesday.

Her vacation came after she was told by her lawyer that her divorce was finally finalized after a year-long process.

‘I’m at the airport, I’m going to see Wolfie, and my lawyer just called me,’ she told fans in the video.

All the papers are signed, about to be filed, on 11/22/22, I’m officially divorced! Happily divorced! God,’ she added with great relief.

The Touched By An Angel actor and Vitale married on New Year’s Day 2011 at their Malibu, California home after dating for years.
