Kate Middleton may want to add “Duchess of Death” to her long list of royal titles.
Royal biographer Tom Bower said the Princess of Wales was “infuriated” by the newly-crowned queen on the guest list for King Charles’ coronation on May 6 and refused to approach the royal as she left Westminster Abbey.
Bower Middleton, 76, who appeared on “Dan Wootton Tonight” on Tuesday, said that 41-year-old and her husband Prince William, 40, were unhappy because Princess Camilla, 75, could only invite four members of her family. 20 people attended.
The Post has contacted the Princess of Wales and Buckingham Palace for comment.
The author goes on to say that the people who helped change the image of Camila from the king’s mistress to the queen are also missing from the high-level event.
“Camilla brought 20 Parker Bowles to the coronation and there were four Middletons,” Bower said on the show, later confirming that neither Middleton sibling was allowed to bring their partners.
Bower continued: “If you look at the image of the coronation speech as the King and Queen leave their thrones and head towards the exit of Westminster Abbey, everyone bows and bows to the King and no one moves a wrist.” Camila muscled through.
“And it’s because they’re mad at Camilla.”
Bower went on to explain that anger at the king was everywhere.
“All the people who helped Camilla get a crown on herself were left out of that crown, and they were angry,” Bower said. “Kate and William are furious. That fury seeped into the small assembly room in the center of Westminster Abbey, near the throne.
Bower concluded: “It was very apparent to those outcasts that Queen Camilla was not to be denied at that time, let alone Kate.”
Tensions with her stepmother continued at the coronation concert in front of 20,000 people.
“And even more strikingly, at the Windsor concert the next day, William made no mention of Queen Camilla.” [in his speech]. So there is a tension there,” the author said.
Bower said the event took a toll on the former Duchess of Cornwall and that Camilla was “exhausted” in the weeks leading up to the dramatic event.
“The whole thing with Camilla is wearing her down at the moment,” Bower said. “People who met her in the weeks leading up to the coronation noticed a woman who was very tired, very tired with signs of age, and very tired about everything.
This is not the first time the new queen has said she is pushing people.
Royal expert Christopher Anderson said on Wednesday that Camilla had “further” isolated Prince Harry, 38, from his father.
According to the author of “The King: A Life of Charles III”, Camilla has been using this “nonsensical ‘but they’re not doing the Royal Family’ argument” to continue isolating Charles, 74, from his youngest son.
“I think every time the king thinks of giving Harry an olive branch, Camilla will remind Charles of all the horrible things that were written about her in ‘Spare,’ Harry’s memoir, which was published earlier this year,” Anderson said.
