Although the broader CBD industry in Thailand is still in its infancy, proud young Thai-based brand Dip is looking to expand its market by creating unique, rigorously tested CBD supplement products.
If you’re unfamiliar with CBD (full name: cannabidiol), it’s a chemical found in marijuana that has been used for centuries to treat a variety of medical ailments. However, like other cannabis products, CBD It doesn’t. It contains tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC), which is the main psychoactive substance in marijuana. Today, you can find a wide range of CBD products on the global market, from CBD-infused fabrics to bath bombs and dog treats.
Diip, however, offers a variety of CBD supplement products. The founders, a group of friends who share a passion for natural health products including CBD, explain, “The philosophy behind the Dip brand is focused on providing high-quality natural CBD products that are accessible and affordable to everyone.” The name “Deep” itself is a play on the word “deep” to reflect the brand’s “safety from a deep, holistic perspective.”
Do you know how some restaurants go from farm to table? Well, similarly, all dip products are the result of a closely monitored farm-to-store process. First, their raw materials are grown organically on their farm in Keo Yi; Fun Fact – According to the founders of Diip, Thailand actually has a unique climate and soil composition that makes it an ideal place to grow high-quality hemp. After that, the plant is GMP certified (GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices) and the hemp extraction facility is approved by the Ministry of Public Health. At the facility, CBD is extracted through a cryo-ethanol process that removes any harmful solvents and contaminants – and ultimately results in a THC-free product. The amount of active ingredients in their products is also accurately measured, and all items are tested by a laboratory, either internally or by a third-party company.
Currently, Dip offers oils in the traditional oil dropper bottle, in small sachets, or as “day” and “night” capsules. The Diip team is excited to bring new, affordable and high-quality CBD products across the country, and has an ambitious goal of launching a new product every month.
