Branchville High School students rally to support classmate with medical expenses

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Students from Branchville High School are coming together to support a class of Sidney Rock Riser who has been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Sidney’s friends have held several fundraisers to help the family with medical expenses. One of the events is “Hats to Rock” and another event is “Prayer at the Pole” where the entire student body gathers at the flagpole and prays for Sydney.

On Friday, December 16, students are hosting a “Prayer in Pajamas,” where students are asked to show up with open hearts and pray for a friend in their most adorable pajamas.
