PARKERSBURG – The WVU Medicine Camden Clark Foundation has received several financial gifts from local businesses, totaling $37,175 that will be used to provide valuable mammograms to many in the community.

Donations received from Astorg Auto and iPacket with Wincor Windows will directly benefit the Camden Clark Foundation’s Pink Mammogram Fund for free screening mammograms, exams and biopsies for local uninsured patients.

Astorg Auto and iPacket generated $8,475 and $12,700, respectively, from vehicle and iPacket package sales in October, explained iPacket CEO and Founder Seve Astorg.

“It’s been over eight years since we’ve been a part of this initiative, and we’re excited to be a part of it this year.” Astarg said. “A big thank you to our customers and those who have supported this fund and donated the money.

“It’s definitely going in the right place, and I encourage everyone to get involved.”

Brian Standley, vice president of finance for Wincor Windows, said Wincor will sponsor the Camden Clark Pink Mammogram Fund each year with a golf tournament, contributing a total of $16,000 through 2022.

“Wincor has always been very supportive of breast cancer awareness charities.” Standley said. “It’s part of who we are. Our founders felt this was an important thing to support and we have been doing it since day one.

Since its inception, the Pink Mammogram Fund has provided more than 3,000 free procedures to patients in the central Ohio Valley.

“The Foundation is very blessed with a few local businesses.” said John Levitt, president of the Camden Clark Foundation Board. “Today we received $37,000 for the Pink Fund, which will allow us to provide mammograms to over 3,000 women in this community, which is wonderful and special.”

Kim Couch, executive director of the Camden Clark Foundation, echoed Levitt’s sentiment.

“This money will translate to hundreds of screening mammograms, tests and biopsies, and is a co-pay for patients, and we continue to look forward to expanding services to the uninsured or underinsured in our community. Couch said. “We are extremely grateful for the generosity and support of our local business in our efforts to bring such critical care to local patients.”
