Diet fads have been popular for decades and don’t seem to be slowing down as the go-to choice for weight loss. Now that social media has developed communities of people sharing health and wellness tips, many of whom are not qualified to do so, more and more information about weight loss has been disseminated. Unfortunately, following popular tips and tricks often does more harm than good.

Some of the most common myths floating around are that you don’t have to restrict what you eat as long as you exercise every day, or conversely, that you can cut hundreds of calories and get a toned body without any exercise. About your dreams. The truth is that science does not support either claim.

“If you’re trying to lose weight, the most effective way is to do both – use some exercise, including lifting weights and a well-designed diet plan.”

Exercise is good for you, but it can’t do everything by itself. Our diet plays a key role in our overall fitness journey, and eating a healthy diet is essential to fueling the workouts our bodies need to get stronger. We need to look to someone qualified and experienced for the guidance we need to approach fitness properly, and when it comes to women’s fitness, you don’t get more qualified than Tatiana Debke.

Diabetic diet to diet

Teaching others

Focusing on macronutrient balance, Debic educates clients on the roles of proteins, carbohydrates and fats and how to optimize their intake based on their specific goals and body composition.

“Just because you see it on Instagram doesn’t mean you’re going to be successful that way,” she says. “It’s all about what can be achieved Hey you. There should be realistic conversations and expectations. There should be a good relationship with food, your body, your hormones. Doing it wrong can negatively affect your future.

As clients progress through their fitness journey, whether those goals are transitioning from weight loss to muscle gain or preparing for a fitness competition, Debke adjusts their meal plans and macronutrient ratios to their changing goals.

In addition to providing meal plans, she more fully educates her clients about portion control, food quality and mindful eating, encouraging them to make informed choices and create a sustainable relationship with food.

“A lot of trainers go on extreme starvation diets for their clients, but I refuse to do that. I get the women I work with to eat a lot. They’re usually surprised,” she says. “It’s all about a healthy balance and a sustainable relationship with food.”

Her goal is to equip her clients with the knowledge and tools for long-term success, the skills to sustain their success and maintain a healthy lifestyle independently.
