Women’s wheelchair leader Susanna Scaroni stops to make some adjustments to the wheel. Although it was a quick fix, she was back on track.

That delay doesn’t have to be too expensive, but it’s one you won’t be overly happy with.

In the men’s wheelchair race, forward Marcel Mack continues to dominate as he nears the halfway mark.

Kipchoge is not sure what to expect from the Boston Marathon

The Boston Marathon has lots of hills, unlike other long-distance races like Berlin or London that are incredibly flat and allow for world record times.

Eliud Kipchoge, the current men’s world record holder, has never competed in Boston, but will make his debut at the age of 38 later today.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen 10, 15, 25 kilometers away,” he said in an interview with The New York Times. That’s what worries me.

“I think Boston is like the Olympics, it’s a new environment for me. Well chosen people. It’s like a championship race.
