Having won five of their last six games, the Lakers look to have found their groove in the past few weeks heading into Monday’s showdown with Indiana. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have alternated impressive performances over the last four games and the Lakers are 7-11 after starting 0-5.

On this week’s episode of “Can U Dig It” on the Silver Screen & Roll Network podcast, Alex Torres joins me to discuss a variety of things about the Lakers. First, we recap an exciting weekend in which the Lakers picked up a pair of blood-and-game victories over the Spurs in two very different games.

After all, the Lakers have won five of their last six games and are now inching closer to contention in the Western Conference. As teams continue to fight around them, the gap in the playoff race is narrowing.

And when the team visits the Pacers on Monday, questions will come up again about whether they should trade draft picks for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner. Given how well the two are playing for Indiana and the wave of momentum the Lakers are riding, is it time to pull off the trade?
