The Ravens hosted offensive guard John Simpson on a free agent visit, according to an announcement from NFL personnel Thursday.
The Raiders eliminated Simpson last week.
Simpson, 25, has played 56 offensive snaps since right guard Alex Barrs suffered a knee injury four games into Thursday night’s game. His only other offensive action this season was starting at left guard in the first two games.
He made 51 special teams plays this season.
The Raiders made Simpson a fourth-round pick in 2020. He started two games as a starter and all 17 games last season.
