The Las Vegas Raiders offensive line was a team that had inconsistent play last season. Aided by the league’s leading rusher, the interior struggled pro-passing, allowing them to finish 26th in passing efficiency, according to PFF.

However, two players on the offensive line had career years. Colton Miller, a steady rock on the left side of the offensive line, lived up to his contract. The surprise was the game of Jermaine Illumunor, who finished the season allowing just three sacks.

PFF recently ranked 32 offensive tackles in the NFL. Eluemunor finished last with 32 while Miller took number 8.

“Miller was seen as a bit of a project as the 15th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. But after a rough rookie season, he’s made significant progress between then and 2021. He produced a PFF pass-blocking rating of 81.0 or better over the past three seasons and was the 12th-highest-rated run defender at the position last year. as well as”

Eluemunor took a big step last season in his first full year as a starter. In the year A fifth-round pick in 2017, he put up 75.0-plus PFF pass and run blocking grades in 2022. He allowed 26 total pressures on the season, but surrendered just seven over the final six games of the year. “

Miller and Eluemunor should be the starting mechanisms heading into the season, but Brandon Parker could change that thought process. Eluemunor will battle with the former third-round pick in training camp. Parker didn’t have a breakout season heading into his sixth year, but his size caught the attention of the front office.

It will be a training camp battle to watch.
