Have you ever tested every single teacher in your school? Well, they just have the Carolina Panthers. . . kind of.
Twitter user Rene Bugner recently compiled 2023 NFL draft rankings from 29 evaluators around the web. Using those marks, Bugner compiled a cumulative grade point average (GPA) for each of the league’s 32 teams.
Here’s how the results are sorted:
🏈🧑🏼🎓 I’ve compiled 29 predictions for the 2023 NFL Draft and summarized team results.
Here’s the spreadsheet. Ranked by GPI for all 32 teams.
I also ranked 29 reviews by GPI. From left (soft graders) to right (hard graders).

Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar, who got in on Bugner’s action, had the following to add about the Panthers 2023 segment:
The success of this draft depends on how well the youngster plays at the next level. I might have picked CJ Stroud here, especially given what the Panthers had to spend with the first overall pick, but we’re splitting hairs here. If Young was 6-foot-2 and weighed 220 pounds, no one would question it, and he has another quality you look for in a franchise quarterback. Mingo might be a bit of a plus for me here, but there are a lot of people I respect who like him better than I do.
Johnson is a hybrid tight end whose production was a bit low last season, and I absolutely love the last two picks. Zavala is one of the better power guards in this class, and has a good history with former college teammate Ikem Ikonu. And Robinson may be a bit smaller, but you’d never know it from watching his tape — he has that ubiquitous tone-setter’s alpha demeanor. The Panthers were clearly in possession of players who could win both in the locker room and on the field.
But does a 3.12 GPA translate to success on the field? Can Wise’s son Bryce Young lead his fellow rookie teammates (and the rest of the Panthers?) to boost the 2023 season?
That’s another challenge for another time. So learn, cats.
