He established the Bozeman Academy to teach everyone, from youth to NFL players, the fundamentals and techniques of playing the position.

After his playing days in the early 2000s, Bozeman found many believers in the program, even though it took several years to stick around. Former Pro Bowler Michael Vick is one. At The Chamber, quarterback specialist Oliver Bozeman worked with Vic as a mechanic. In the past, Vick used to handle the ball with his entire hand. Chambers said Vick changed his grip so that a pencil was inserted between the palm of his hand and the football. He also changed the delivery height.

Vick used what he learned in a tryout with Pittsburgh that same year. He earned the job as the backup and helped them win two games when Ben Roethlisberger went down with an injury. The Steelers made the play of the game. Bozeman also got a big helping hand from another NFL quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater. Justin Fields appears to be in capable hands.

While Bozeman doesn’t have any magic elixir, he clearly puts QBs through a rigorous training regimen that helps clean up the flawed technique. In the year It has been a constant problem for Fields since his arrival in 2021. Although he is a superior athlete, he doesn’t always play the QB position the way one would like. The casting process can sometimes be long and slow, and the processing speed is inconsistent. In the past year, there has been progress in these areas.

It is clear that he is now more interested in cleaning them up. It’s another reason why Justin Fields seems destined for success. People often forget how hard the Bears quarterback works. He is willing to put in the necessary time to make himself great. If he listens to Bozeman’s instructions, the results should show when the move begins this September.
