Proctor has crossed off some of the oddities that are getting a 3.0 verb rework in Lightfall. These are not all:

  • Breath of Leviathan (Arrow)
  • A Thousand Voices (Fusion Rifle)
  • Sunshot (hand cannon)
  • Polaris Lance (Scout Rifle)
  • Two-Tailed Fox (Rocket Launcher)
  • Prometheus Lens (Trace Rifle)

“There are two other people we’re going to sit with right now,” Proctor continued. “These are the rare things that we’re going to touch on in a major way and then there are a few other things that we’re doing as well.”

“I think we’ll keep the fans to ourselves for now,” Proctor said.

Bungie has released a new gameplay trailer for Lightfall during this year’s Game Awards show, which is sure to be the film’s star moment, as the new strand subplot, Hunter battles the Thunderclash Titan. (And not forgetting everything that happens at the end)

Destiny 2 Lightfall launches on February 28, 2023 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
