About a week after releasing beta version 25.77, Garmin rolled out another beta build for the Fenix 6, Enduro, Tactix Delta, Quatix 6 and Marq smartwatches. Now the company has released the beta version 25.78 which brings few changes from the previous one. As the name suggests, beta version 25.78 offers minor changes over 25.76 and 25.77.
Still, beta version 25.78 contains important bug fixes and new features compared to beta version 25.77. Specifically, Garmin added the ability to rate Connectivity IQ apps in the app settings menu. Previously, this was only possible through the Connect IQ storefront. Also, Garmin says it has packed the following fixes.
- Fixed potential issues with inaccurate altimeter data on logged activities.
- Fixed issue with gender not being female on “S” size devices.
- Fixed an issue where the timer data on ski movement was incorrectly formatted.
- Fixed missing vibration on obstacle course racing slots.
Normally, Garmin releases new beta builds through the Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) service. But this is not the case in beta version 25.78. Instead, Garmin is asking people to manually install the new beta build. It is not clear when it will take to automatic beta build downloads. Accordingly, the company has provided download links as well as installation instructions on its forum post.
