Leaker billbil-kun has shared new details about the Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro series of smartwatches. For reference, Roland Quandt originally released the pair alongside the Approach S70 that Garmin launched. Recently, a Swiss retailer revealed the launch price of the Fenix 7 Pro Solar, Fenix 7S Pro Solar and Fenix 7X Pro Solar smartwatches separately.
Now Bilbil-Kun has revealed the full specifications, pricing and release dates for the Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro series. In short, it looks like Garmin just added a new heart rate sensor to differentiate these Pro-branded smartwatches from their regular counterparts. According to Bilbil-Kun, Garmin has integrated Garmin Elevate Gen5 sensors for cardio wrist on all Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro models. However, it remains to be seen how the Garmin Gen5 sensor differs from its Gen4 predecessor.
Garmin is expected to be available in France on June 19. While the same leaker said the company might be running a short pre-order period before June 19, Garmin doesn’t know when it will officially release the Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro. Series.
