Garmin has introduced a new beta update for its Fenix 7, Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 series smartwatches, dubbed beta version 13.14. To summarize, the company released beta version 13.13 last week with more than two dozen changes. In comparison, the successor has a much smaller changelog. Perhaps Garmin released firmware version 11.28 two months ago and is moving to provide a new stable update.

According to Garmin, beta version 13.14 has reached only 25% of eligible devices. However, the company added that more smartwatches should get the new beta build in the next 48 hours. Alternatively, you can request the update immediately by selecting ‘Check for updates’ in the main settings menu. Garmin adds that it will deliver future official beta updates over the air (OTA) whenever possible, rather than using Garmin Express.

Apparently, Garmin added the only new feature in beta version 13.14, race access is now visible in the calendar widget. Moreover, the company reports that the new beta build brings unspecified improvements to ‘map interaction’. Also, beta version 13.14 includes the five bug fixes listed below. Please see the Garmin forum for more details.
