The Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3S smartwatches have been featured in new Standards and Industry Research Malaysia (SIRIM) records. Venu 3 has model number A04543 while Venu 3S has model number A04542. The filings of these new smartwatches are yet to be seen by other regulatory bodies such as the FCC.
Little is known about the Venu 3 watch series, with no official information from Garmin. The latest smartwatch to be released in the Venu series is the Venu 2 Plus, arriving in January 2022. The wearable has health features like body battery power monitoring, heart rate monitoring and a new ECG app, which uses sensors to detect signs of atrial fibrillation. (AFib) or irregular heartbeat. The watch also features Siri, Google Assistant and Bixby Voice assistants, Bluetooth calling and up to nine days of battery life.
The Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3S smartwatches won’t launch before the upcoming Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro wearables. Gadgets and Wearables speculates that the Venu series of devices could soon follow in August or September. The wearable’s exact launch date, feature list and pricing remain to be seen. For context, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus smartwatch retails for US$449.99. At the time of writing, the Venu 2 Plus is discounted from US$50 to US$399.99 at Garmin Retailer and Amazon in the US.
