Today, Honor held an event in China that focused around the Magic V2 foldable, but the brand also showcased premium tablets and smartwatches like the MagicPad 13 and Magic Watch 4.

Let’s start with the MagicPad 13. It’s Honor’s first MagicOS 7.2-powered tablet, and it’s also the pioneer of Honor’s new mobile office experience. Honors Documents offers a word processing app and a note taking app in Honors Notes.

The MagicPad 13 comes in Sky Blue, Star Gray and Moonlight, a sort of beige color. The front is the highlight of the calculation – a 13-inch 2880x1840px IPS LCD with a variable refresh rate that switches between 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz and 144Hz. Touch sample rate is up to 240Hz. The display is HDR10-ready with 1.07b colors and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut. Its claim to fame is that the panel has color accuracy below ∆E.

Next is the audio experience. There are a total of 8 speakers and 4 microphones on the MagicPad 13. Credit: This is the industry’s first 3D spatial audio setup that doesn’t require headphones.

The Honor Magic Pencil 3 is designed specifically for the new MagicPad 13. It has a skin-friendly coverage and matte texture. The stylus has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a 2ms delay. On MagicPad 13, you can highlight objects and text using the Honor Magic Pencil and then copy and paste them into apps, as well as pick a color from anywhere in the UI, which is helpful for design apps.

Inside the tablet is a Snapdragon 888 chip with either 8GB, 12GB or 16GB of RAM. That power is put to good use with support for HDR video editing right on the device (naturally the Magic Pencil 3 comes in handy there too). The USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port is also handy for attaching storage and can output 4k 60fps to an external display.

For cameras, the MagicPad 13 has a 13MP f/2.0 autofocusing unit on the back, and a 9MP f/2.2 fixed-focus selfie camera on the front.

Thanks to the 10,050mAh battery with 66W charging, the tablet can go for days.

On the Honor Magic Watch 4 – the company’s first MagicOS smartwatch. It houses a 1.75-inch 450x390px 60Hz AMOLED housed in a 6-inch aluminum case. The smartwatch’s key selling point is SIM support, which allows it to run independently of your phone.

Combined with Smart Dual Standby, Honor Watch 4 can be used for up to 10 days while waiting for notifications.

For fitness tracking, Magic Watch 4 supports 85 sports modes and 12 professional sports. It can also check your health for atrial fibrillation, track sleep apnea, and naturally monitor overall sleep.

The Honor Magic Watch 4 is on sale for CNY 999 (€125 INR 11,400 converted) but there is a special CNY 50 early bird discount. You can choose between black, gold and blue.

The Honor MagicPad 13 is up for pre-order starting today and will go on general sale on July 20.
