In the year On November 24, based on the amendment of the special business plan approved on April 27, 2022, we received 9.7 billion yen in financial support from the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation (hereinafter referred to as NDF).
This funding is based on our 130th request to cover compensation payments due at the end of December 2022. It is estimated that the amount of payments due at that time will exceed the compensation amount. Received based on the “Act on Nuclear Damage Compensation Treaty” (188.9 billion yen) and the financial assistance provided by the NDF (10,331.0 billion yen).
With financial support from the NDF, we are committed to paying compensation to all those affected by nuclear damage with respect and compassion.
