A video of “Adele” touching a man fooled the Internet

Adele (pronounced “Uh-dale”) had herself a great weekend… or so it seemed.

A video started making the rounds on Twitter yesterday, showing a man groping at a man in a nightclub, rubbing his bottom against his side and kicking him. One tweet about the video in particular has gotten some attention as it has garnered over 80,000 likes and says: “Adele is really for the people.”

Indeed, the man looks like Adele. He said it is not like that. It fooled a lot of people, though, apparently, including the Twitter user who shared the tweet, as they later wrote: “Oh my god, let me get my glasses!” Someone commented. “Lmao, I watched this video long and hard and it didn’t dawn on me until the last minute that this wasn’t actually Adele.” Another user replied: “So you really blew my brains out to see Adele, it’s crazy.”

So who is it really? The answer is Kehlani, dancing with their makeup artist Troy Antonio. Both actually have a habit of doing this. A few months ago, another video surfaced, featuring Antonio as Kehlani. Kehlani is also apparently just big on shredding, as they were recently spotted doing it with Letitia Wright.
