Austin Butler designed to host Saturday Night Live first time!
Ahead of his hosting debut this weekend, the show’s official Twitter account teased a photo of the 31-year-old actor at the final table read, and fans can’t get enough of it.
The photo showed Elvis the actor prepares his lines for the episode that will be aired later this week in December. 17, specifically. He donned a black Carhartt jacket with a hood underneath while laughing at a piece of paper that may have contained part of the script for an upcoming episode.

Fans couldn’t keep it together after the photo was posted, and they made their excitement known in a tweet after the tweet splashed over the star and promoted Saturday’s release.
“I can’t wait for this epic #austinbutler @austinbutler:“, one of the fans wrote.
“Ok now damn it,” wrote another fan with a crying emoji, completely panting over the photo.
“Still can’t believe the hot background actor from Ned’s leaked movie is hosting SNL this week,” quipped another.
“Like this is the same person hosting snl next week,” another fan wrote alongside a throwback video of Butler appearing on an episode of the hit Disney Channel show. Hannah Montana.
Another fan shamelessly took a dig at Butler, writing “daddy hosts snl” alongside one of the promos for an upcoming episode featuring the actor.
“He could be my Santa anytime,” another fan jokingly tweeted.
