OnePlus has a big event on February 7 in New Delhi, India, where we expect to see the global versions of the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It will also be the landing stage for the first OnePlus keyboard, OnePlus Pad tablet, new OnePlus Q2 Pro TV in several sizes and OnePlus 11R smartphone.
At a separate event in China, OnePlus is launching the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone, which will be the 11R version for the domestic market with minor software changes.
OnePlus Ace 2 official renders
OnePlus 11R and OnePlus Ace 2 have the same rear camera design and front display. They are both confirmed to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and the color of the official teaser matches the previous images. Last year the OnePlus 10R was sold as the OnePlus Ace in China.
The phone with model number PHK110 was already benchmarked on AnTuTu, reaching 1,149,494 with its Qualcomm chip. The result is in line with the OnePlus 10T, which is also powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. We should note that the result was achieved in Performance Mode, only smartphones with modes that artificially boost their hardware are able to reach over 1 million AnTuTu score with this SoC.
The main difference between the global and Chinese smartphone is the UI – OnePlus is bringing Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top for the Ace 2, while the 11R will run OxygenOS 13. The interface has a different name, but over the years the two have gotten closer and closer more points to have few major differences in this point.
