All eyes are now on Samsung’s next flagship smartphone. There are countless rumors and reports about the Galaxy S23 series. The launch is expected to take place in early 2023. A new report now offers some additional insights.

Samsung is reportedly going to hold a completely unsealed event in San Francisco for the launch of the Galaxy S23. This will be the first time they have been in person since the pandemic.

Samsung may be bringing back its non-physical cases.

Korean media, citing a Samsung Electronics executive familiar with the matter, are reporting that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Unboxing event will take place in early February 2023. This event will be held in San Francisco, as before. Samsung’s last fully unveiled event was in San Francisco for the Galaxy S20 series.

The source did not give an exact date, but other local reports indicated that the event could take place in the first week of February. The Galaxy S22 series

In the year After the outbreak in 2020, Samsung switched to virtual unpacked arrangements. Since then, it has held online launch events for the new Galaxy S and Galaxy Z flagships. The company has done the in-person experience for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 this year, but is yet to return to full in-person events. With travel and event restrictions no longer a threat, it may be time for Samsung to resume its glorious product launch event.

Several other reports suggest that the Galaxy S23 may cost more than its predecessor due to inflation. Whether or not that ends up being true remains to be seen. We often hear rumors of price hikes before the launch of new Samsung flagships, so these reports are par for the course.
