With a writers’ strike looming, Marvel Studios’ business may be affected by the upcoming MCU films.
The Writers Guild of America (WGA) is currently trying to negotiate a new contract with the Motion Picture & Television Producers (AMPTP). Failure to reach an agreement by midnight on Monday 1 May will result in a strike by the writers.
In the event of a strike, no Hollywood writers will be allowed to work until new contracts are signed with the studios.
With several MCU movies (and series) currently in the works, a strike would throw Marvel Studios and Disney into a major tailspin.

But all hope is not lost. Even if the clock continues to tick until midnight tomorrow, there is a very good chance that a deal can be reached.
