TJ Holmes’ scorned wife says she is “disappointed” in her first public comment on the “GMA3” host over his high-profile relationship with co-star Amy Robach.
Marilee Fiebig released a statement through her divorce attorney, Stephanie Lehman, on Wednesday, a week after Holmes filed papers to end their 13-year marriage.
“During the holiday season and the difficult times, Marilee’s only focus was on the well-being of her 9-year-old daughter. [Sabine]” Lehmann told the Daily Mail.
“She has been working with Holmes’ advice to move,” Lehman said. [Fiebig and Holmes’] Divorce privately, quickly and as amicably as possible.
She added, “However, we continue to be disappointed by TJ’s lack of understanding, respect and sensitivity towards Marilee and the party girl.
Lehman concluded her statement by saying that Fiebig, 45, was “heartbroken by the outpouring of support” since the scandal first hit the headlines in November 2022 and “looks forward to a fresh start this New Year.”
Fiebig, an immigration attorney, has previously been outspoken on the issue, but a source told Page 6 exclusively that she is “blindsided” by her husband’s dalliances.
The new statement comes after Fiebig was caught subtly supporting Robach’s husband, Andrew Shue, and his family during the holiday season on Instagram.
Page 6 previously reported that the divorce of Robach, 49, and Shue, 55, is nearing completion, with Holmes, 45, beginning the legal process with Fiebig on Dec. 28.
Meanwhile, Holmes and Robach’s romance seems steamier than ever. They were photographed as teenagers on vacation in Miami before moving back to New York City together.
The couple – whose ABC Insider investigation has been off-air – turned their work relationship into a secret romance when they trained together for the New York City Half Marathon in March 2022.
