Mark Wahlberg hasn’t bought into Hollywood’s latest weight loss craze.

Speaking to Page 6 for a story published Wednesday, the famously fit actor shared his thoughts on celebrities and others taking the diabetes drug Ozempic to trim down.

Wahlberg, whose intense workouts can be one of the most stressful in the business, told the outlet that he prefers “the good old-fashioned way” to stay in shape.

“To each his own, but I encourage people to eat right and exercise,” he said. “It’s more than that. [of] Lifestyle change. You’ll be surprised what you can accomplish when you’re willing to do the work.

The “Unknown” star previously emphasized that his body is “all natural,” but “everyone has their own way,” he told Page 6.

“I’m not knocking anybody for making their own choices,” he said. But I prefer, and I see a lot of people doing amazing things, ordinary people doing extraordinary things in fitness.

Hollywood’s obsession with appearance has often led celebrities to adopt questionable weight loss solutions. Last year model Lori Harvey faced a social media backlash for promoting what some believed was a dangerous crash diet, while actress Melanie Lynskey said she tried to “starve” herself for a role.

Ozempic, a brand name for the drug semaglutide, has recently gained popularity for its ability to suppress appetite, although some people with eating disorders say the growing demand for the drug is a nightmare for them.

Wahlberg, who wakes up at 2:30 a.m. for work and works out several times a day, is no stranger to changing his body. He dropped by 20 pounds and earned nearly 50 for two films released in 2013. Recently, “Father Stu” put on 20 pounds for 2022.
