For the purposes of this story, I tried to see if I could get a prescription myself and an online nurse practitioner was happy to help. No office visit, no paperwork, no video or phone calls. She went and got an injection. “After that I started feeling excruciating pain. I was throwing up nonstop. That was 11 days ago, and I’ve been throwing up nonstop ever since. I’ve been in the hospital for 11 days now,” said Samantha Rivera. “She’s not fat,” said Charlene Rivera, Samantha’s mother. She has no health problems.
