Nom Inc., a startup that has offered a psychological approach to weight loss for years, is now ready to add drugs to the equation.
After last year’s pilot, the company is launching the Nom Med option, which includes prescriptions for obesity medications such as Novo Nordisk A/S’s WeGovi is around $120 per month. It is the latest weight loss company to join the lifestyle industry’s push to use highly effective and expensive GLP-1 obesity drugs to help their customers lose weight.
