Dungy came under fire this week for posting a controversial tweet from his personal account promoting sexist remarks. School districts across the country are “putting litter boxes in school bathrooms for students known to be cats,” he said. This myth has been widely debunked by NBC News and others Politics.
The tweet came in response to a video. from of Daily wire Minnesota State Representative Sandra Feist’s advocacy of keeping menstrual products in boys’ school bathrooms across the state.
Dungy has since deleted the tweet.
NBC will host the first of two divisional playoff games Saturday when the Chiefs host the Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 pm ET.
Dungy, as usual, will participate in studio coverage of the pregame and halftime shows with Mariah Taylor and fellow analyst Jason Garrett.
