If you’ve been excited to try Bing Chat on Google Chrome or Apple’s Safari web browser, you’ll be happy to know that Microsoft has started rolling out its AI chatbot for both browsers. According to Microsoft, this is only rolling out to select users right now, so if you don’t have access yet, you’re not alone.

The news comes from Windows latestand seen by humans 9to5Google And Verge. Prior to this release, Bing Chat was only available on the Microsoft Edge browser. To access it, you just need to go to the Bing website and access the tool by clicking on the “Chat” icon. As you’d expect, the experience is similar to what you’d find on Edge, with users able to submit a question and also choose a chat style. However, those who have been using Bing Chat on Edge will notice some differences, such as the ability to use up to 2,000 characters to fill out a question with 4,000 characters.

Bing Chat on Chrome and Safari also has a limit of replies before the conversation ends. Those on Edge can ask up to 30 questions in a single conversation, while Chrome and Safari users are limited to five. As you can imagine, this is a big difference. And once the limit is reached, Bing Chat will not accept any questions or requests and instead a message will appear: “Sorry, this chat has reached the limit. Use the “Clear” button to delete this and chat further.” Those looking for a deeper experience may be disappointed by this, but casual users will probably find the limitation satisfactory.

While it’s interesting to branch out to other browsers, Microsoft has also launched a dark mode for Bing Chat, allowing users to switch between the new color scheme by heading to the Appearance menu. If you don’t currently have access to it in your browser of choice, Kathleen Rulston, director of communications at Microsoft, said: “We’re excited to expand access to more users as our regular testing process completes.” So it seems that it will only be time for everyone to arrive.
