If you’re hoping to one day see Bravo superfan Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi with the cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” — don’t hold your breath.
Andy Cohen explained why we won’t see the “Jersey Shore” queen holding a diamond as they address their “feud” on Monday’s episode of his Sirius XM radio show, “Andy Cohen Live.”
The couple’s “public war” began last year when Cohen said he would not take Snooki on “RHONJ.”
“You were a little sarcastic so I had to come back,” she explained.
“I told him I didn’t see it. right. ‘I never saw him. Ever,’” Cohen said of Snooki joining the franchise. “That’s why I said it now. I see him as the face of MTV and the face of ‘Jersey Shore.'”
“And to me it’s like putting Mickey’s eyes in a Bugs Bunny cartoon,” he added. “It’s very different. you know what i mean?”
The reality TV star said she was “not offended” by Cohen’s statement, but said it was his tone that rubbed her the wrong way.
She added, “I don’t like your little, ‘Nah, I’m good,'” to which Cohen replied, “That’s what I do.”
The pair have since put their beef aside, with Cohen confirming they are no longer “at war”.
Snooki previously told Page 6 that she can’t “stay” with any of the “Housewives” because she “hates drama.”
“I’m really scared because some of those girls… are going to come in,” she just told us. “Even though I’m on a reality show, I hate drama. I like positivity and I like to have a good time and go home. I just feel like this is wild. “
Polizzi made her reality TV debut in 2009 on the original “Jersey Shore.”
In September 2020, there were rumors that Bravo had picked up the MTV show as “The Real Housewives” of New Jersey.
However, Snooki immediately shut down the rumors, writing on Instagram, “Not how this started but I wasn’t asked to be a housewife. Soooooo”
