Megan King has compared Teresa Giudice’s husband Luis Ruelas to Vicki Gunvalson’s cancer-fighting ex Brooks Ayers.
He’s 100 percent in Brooks’ territory. He is a slimeball narcissist. He’s a terrible person,” the reality star said on Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum famously investigated and later discovered Ayers had fabricated medical documents to pretend he was receiving treatment for cancer — something Ayers later admitted to in 2015.
While Ruelas, 48, has never faked a medical issue like Ayers, fans have questioned some of his controversial behavior – including pushing his ex-wife to the metal stake, being accused of assault and being hit with a restraining order. He refused – over the years.
Most recently, his ex-fiancée Vanessa Reiser filed a restraining order against the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star after she claimed he hired a private investigator to “look after her.”
Rulas’ attorney, Christopher A. Erante, denied the charges and told Page 6 that they “look forward to being found guilty in a court of law.”
Giudice and Ruelas have been married for almost a year, tying the knot in a rare New Jersey wedding on August 6.
The Bravolebrity has defended her relationship several times and recently dismissed reports that they are on “shaky” ground.
Enough of ‘Real Housewives?’ You can’t get it.
“There’s no such thing,” she told co-host Melissa Pfister on the “Namaste B$tches” podcast last month. “I love and respect him very much.”
Giudice says they’re still in the “Newlyweds” phase where “everything is peaches and cream.”
“You have to thank God because another guy is going to run away and say, ‘I’m out of here, I’m done,'” she continued.
But he really loves me. I’m glad to see that, because a lot has been thrown our way.
Giudice and Ruelas met in the summer of 2020 and got engaged in October of the following year. She was previously married to Joe Giudice, with whom she shares four daughters: Gia, 22, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 13.
